Donald ÜBER ALLES
Trump Has Ended The Gaza Holocaust
Buried lede: The USA taking over means the siege is done. Bibi will not be re-starting it as he threatened
With all the recent talk about re-locating Palestinians and re-developing Gaza, it would be fair to assume that Donald has ordered a permanent end to the so-called “war.” He made it clear during his 4 February press conference with Netanyahu that America is taking over the Gaza Strip, which means the siege is now officially done. Bibi will not be re-starting it at the end of the first phase as he has repeatedly threatened to do. That, I think, is the lede that got buried.
It’s difficult to predict how matters will progress now that Trump has assumed command of the Biden/Netanyahu Holocaust. That’s because Donald’s only concern is Donald. He has no rational, objective understanding of the situation; it’s all about emotions and imagery and messaging. It’s all about him. He’s obsessed with “ratings,” with “his numbers” (the likes of which no one has ever seen). He’s self-absorbed, self-serving, self pitying — well, he’s every derogatory phrase you can make with the word “self,” and then some. Analysis becomes impossible. We can only understand him intuitively.
Here’s an important hint: Back in early March of 2024 he said that the Gaza siege had already gone on too long and that Israel was losing support around the world. He said it was past time for the Israelis to wrap things up. He campaigned on bringing peace to the Middle East, although he didn’t say on what terms, and that’s a major source of uncertainty.
But his major decisions all have one thing in common: Donald is always performing for his future biographers. Every move he makes is dictated by whatever he imagines will enhance his legacy. He’s a pushy B-list celebrity above all.
I think he’s acutely aware that Nixon will always be known as Tricky Dick; that Clinton will always be Slick Willie; and that Biden will forever be remembered as Genocide Joe. He’s thinking of nicknames in the vein of “Old Hickory” and “Honest Abe” for himself. He dreams of being historically significant. He wants a Nobel Peace Prize.
To follow in Biden’s blood-soaked footsteps would be a rocket-sled ride to infamy and he knows it. Donald is no intellectual, but he is shrewd. And he wants to be remembered not merely as a celebrity president, but as a great president and the single greatest deal maker in American history; he wants our grandchildren to read about his masterful Middle-East statecraft and the swiftness with which 80 years’ worth of intractable conflict yielded to that famous Trump brain.
No free lunch
I’ll be surprised if there is a Gaza death march. The world is already pushing back against Trump’s relocation plan, which is being characterized as ethnic cleansing even by genocide grandmasters like Germany.
Resistance is emerging from the American liberal establishment, and from the mainstream media and celebrities whose approval Trump desperately seeks. They all conspired to protect Biden from the consequences of his own depravity, but they won’t do the same for Donald. They do actually hate and fear him. All the properly-educated suburbanites in America do as well. They hate and fear his voters, and his policies, and his donors and allies and lunatic advisors.
So if there really is a Trail of Tears out of Gaza and into the Sinai, it will become known as Donald’s Gaza Holocaust, which will necessarily be an Evil Gaza Holocaust — unlike Biden’s Gaza Holocaust which was an exercise in self defense and 100% Hamas’s fault and a real tragedy that raised a lot of concerns that the Israelis have promised to look into.
With Donald now in the Oval Office, liberal Americans have license to despise US policy toward Israel, because it has become Trump’s Israel policy, and everyone knows he’s a Fascist, and his followers are Fascists, and everything he does is evil and stupid and wrong, while every person who doesn’t see that is evil and stupid and wrong too.
When Biden sent the cops out to brutalize protestors — even on their own university campuses — the mainstream media called it fighting anti-Semitic hatred. When Trump sends the cops out to brutalize demonstrators, liberals and suburban Republicans will dig in their heels and push back hard because Fascism is coming to America and everyone simply must fight to protect the country from these Gilead MAGA stooges. Denouncing Israeli depravity will no longer be anti-Semitic; it will instead be anti-Donald.
The difficulty here is that Trump doesn’t care about America or the world and is therefore blissfully ignorant of both. He’s easily misled. What he thinks will serve his interests and enhance his public image is whatever he’s told by whichever advisor most impresses him. And that will change on a weekly to monthly basis, assuming his first term is any guide.
But the fact remains that the good people of America who excused fourteen months of Biden’s Satanic atrocities because Oprah and Rachel Maddox and Bill Maher said to will happily round on Trump — as will the NATO and EU allies who obediently licked the blood off Biden’s hands. And I think that, ultimately, Donald will back down. He’s a bully, yes, but he’s no fighter. His threats are about as sound as his promises.
So whether Trump goes dovish and eases up on the ethnic cleansing to protect his legacy as a peacemaker, or goes hawkish and draws ever-growing public outrage at home and abroad, I think the Middle East in general and Palestine in particular will end up better off than they’d be under a Harris administration, which would have enjoyed the protection of layers of spin from the Blue MAGA media freak show that continues to apologize for Biden.
I cannot picture Harris ordering Bibi to end the siege temporarily and accept the exchange deal the way Trump did, days before his inauguration, over Biden’s head. I cannot picture her summoning him to Washington and ordering him to end it permanently a couple of weeks later.
This might not be a huge improvement, but I’ll take it.
